This piece is also from New Zealand... I loved the way the bridge frames the picture, so I left it be there.. The mountains seem to be close, but they were actually very far away.

Yeah, I liked the idea of the bridge to frame the scenery, when I was taking the picture... I like bridges :)
Your pond picture is interesting...melancholic but somehow full of hope at the same time.

Maybe her insecure expression is shown in the picture, when she'll be like "what's going on?!" while you're sneakily taking pictures..and then the angle makes it seem like it's melancholic with her puzzled expression? heh analyzing..
